Mt. St. Helens’ Norway Pass

Whew! My personal life has *FINALLY* calmed down, and I can tackle my enormous photo backlog.

Last July, I hosted a hike to Norway Pass near Mt. St. Helens. This is a good hike for beginners. It’s fairly short (4.5 miles roundtrip), not steep, and it has a *GREAT* view of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Hood. As a bonus, in late summer, there are lots and lots of wild huckleberries and blueberries (kids love that part)!

July is too early for berries, but that didn’t matter. 19 of us enjoyed a perfect sunny day, and enjoyed the vistas.

Here are the pictures:

The hillside was covered with lots of wildflowers. This image does not do it justice.
